PUPPY APPLICATION
What to Expect Next
Our goal is to be fair to both our puppy families and our breeding program, and we strive to make this process as transparent and straightforward as possible.
APPLICATION AND APPROVAL
We carefully review each application in the order it is received. Please allow up to 2 business days for review. If we believe your home is a strong match for one of our puppies, we will reach out with approval and an invitation to place a Reservation Deposit.
RESERVATION DEPOSIT
A $500 Reservation Deposit is required to reserve your place in our program. This deposit is applied toward the final purchase price of your puppy and confirms your commitment to joining our waiting list. Your Reservation Deposit allows us to reserve space for your future puppy and helps us thoughtfully plan each litter for our families.
FINAL PAYMENT
The remaining balance is due at pickup. If your puppy is being transported or flown, final payment is due before travel arrangements are scheduled and no later than when the puppy reaches 7 weeks of age.
We accept:
-
Cash (preferred)
-
Zelle
-
Cashier’s Check payable to Timberland Falls Goldendoodles
-
PayPal (3% processing fee applies)
-
Personal checks are not accepted for final payment.
RESERVATION DEPOSIT TRANSFERS
Reservation Deposits are non-refundable.
If your plans change, we kindly ask that you notify us before your puppy reaches 4 weeks of age. At that time, your Reservation Deposit may be transferred one time to the next available litter of the same size. The transferred Reservation Deposit must be used for that next eligible litter and cannot be transferred again. If a puppy is not selected from that litter, the Reservation Deposit will be forfeited.
WHEN YOUR RESERVATION BECOMES FINAL
Once your selected puppy reaches 4 weeks of age, your Reservation Deposit becomes final and is no longer transferable or refundable. At this stage, your puppy has been reserved specifically for your family, and we have likely turned away other approved families.
IF WE CANNOT PROVIDE YOUR REQUESTED PUPPY
In the rare case that we are unable to provide the sex or color requested on your approved application, you may choose to:
-
Move your Reservation Deposit to the top of the waiting list for the next available litter that matches your preferences, or
-
Receive a full refund of your Reservation Deposit
-
PUPPY SELECTION
Our puppies are placed using a structured selection process that includes Volhard temperament testing and reservation order. Families select their puppies in the order Reservation Deposits are received, based on the preferences listed on their approved application. If your preferred puppy is not available, you may move your Reservation Deposit to the next available litter that aligns with your preferences. We kindly ask that selections be made within the timeframe provided, so each family has a fair and timely opportunity. If a family chooses not to select a puppy outside of their approved preferences, the Reservation Deposit may be forfeited.
VISITS AND SELECTION APPOINTMENTS
We welcome families to visit our home in Colville, Washington to meet and select their puppy between 4 and 7 weeks of age. We do our best to accommodate travel schedules whenever possible. If you need to reschedule, we kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice. A $200 cancellation fee applies to missed appointments or late cancellations.
GOING HOME
Puppies typically go home at 8 weeks of age, depending on readiness and scheduling. If needed, we may provide boarding by prior arrangement until 12 weeks of age for $150 per week. During this time, puppies continue receiving age-appropriate care, structure, and socialization.
CONTRACT
All puppies are placed under a signed contract, which is provided after selection. This ensures clarity, protection, and shared understanding for both the family and our program.
SPAY / NEUTER
Our puppies are placed as companion pets unless otherwise arranged through a Guardian Home Agreement. We recommend spaying females after their first heat cycle and waiting until at least 12 months of age for males. Breeding rights are not included unless specifically agreed upon in writing.
