Hi, I’m Brody!


I might not be the first pup you notice because of my black coat, but the people who know dogs best say that’s often where the sweetest hearts are hiding.

I’m really proud of how much I already know for my age. I’ve been working hard and it shows:

  • I’m crate trained

  • House trained

  • Leash trained

  • Stair trained

  • I know sit, down, off, and no

  • I’m getting better every day with “come”

  • I can even do fun tricks like sit-ups and shake (I’ll happily offer my paw!)

I’m a fast learner and I genuinely want to do the right thing. When you show me something new, I give it my full attention and try my best. I bond closely with my person and absolutely love affection—especially when you hold me close and talk to me in that soft, gentle voice. I also have an independent side and enjoy exploring and figuring things out on my own, which makes me pretty easy to live with.

I love other dogs and would be thrilled to have a canine friend, but I can also be perfectly happy as your one-and-only as long as you’re patient and kind. I get along well with cats too—I’m respectful and give them their space. The people who know me best say I’m thoughtful, gentle, and emotionally aware.

I don’t need constant excitement—what helps me most is having good experiences with someone I trust, learning that the world is a safe and happy place. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who wants to grow with you, I might just be your guy.
