Hi, I’m Birch!

Okay, I’ll admit it—I can come across as the rowdy one in the group. I love to wrestle and stir things up during playtime, but it’s all just part of the fun! Deep down, I’m actually a pretty sensitive guy. I take a little time to warm up in new situations, but once I do, my bold, curious side starts to shine through.

I’m doing really well with house training (if I do say so myself), and I’m very independent—I enjoy exploring on my own and figuring things out. But I also love to be held and talked to in that soft, sweet voice humans use—I just melt when someone gives me that kind of attention.

You might not see my full personality right away, but trust me—it’s in there. I’ve got a spunky, playful spirit, and I really love being around other dogs. Having a canine buddy would be awesome, but I’d also do great as your one-and-only, as long as you’re patient and kind.

I don’t need constant excitement—what helps me grow is having a few really good experiences that show me the world isn’t so scary after all. With the right person by my side, I know I’ll grow into a confident, happy boy who loves life and loves you even more.

So, if you’re looking for a pup with a gentle heart, a brave streak, and tons of love to give, I’d love to be your little phantom shadow.
